I am a computational neuroscientist at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS) and Goethe University Frankfurt, in the group of Matthias Kaschube.
I study how the developing visual cortex arrives at reliable representations of the world, combining recurrent network models with chronic imaging data from ferret visual cortex. I submitted my PhD thesis in January 2026.
